On 12th October 2024, Museo Spazio Pubblico hosted an event with the Italian artist Marco Bucchieri who presented a preview of his new book “The space we have left in the world”, the first book of the series “Res Publica” published by City Space Architecture Press. The event was included in the celebration of the 20th Giornata del Contemporaneo, a major event promoted by AMACI that involves museums, foundations, public and private institutions, galleries, studios and artists’ spaces to tell, in a single day, the vitality of contemporary art in Italy and abroad.

This event was also an opportunity to organize a guided tour of Museo Spazio Pubblico and its brand new sections, the Public Space Library, managed by City Space Architecture, and the Art Shop, managed by Genius Saeculi, which currently presents the series “Magical Boxes” by Marco Bucchieri.

The Giornata del Contemporaneo is supported by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, with the collaboration of the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the partnership with Alfasigma, the media partnership with Il Giornale dell’Arte and Rai Cultura, the technical sponsorship of Artshell and the patronage of Rappresentanza in Italia della Commissione europea, Camera dei Deputati, Ministero della Cultura, Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, Conferenza delle Regioni e delle Province Autonome, UPI – Unione Province d’Italia, ANCI – Associazione Nazionale Comuni Italiani e ICOM Italia.
